14th March 2017 –  Directors Breakfast – By invitation only!

“AI and Business Development”
Venue: Gowling WLG, 4 More London Riverside, London SE1 2AU
Facilitator: Richard Tromans, Founder of TromansConsulting

This breakfast session looks at how BD, PR and marketing teams, as well as firms management, will need to develop ways of selling professional services where AI is involved.

The aim is to cut through the hype and focus on the reality that many firms are already adopting AI systems to do work, yet most firms' BD and marketing teams are not always up to speed with what is happening and how this changes how they sell and create messages for the clients.

Although many of the examples used will be law firm focused, the principles apply to all professional services firms.

23rd March 2017 12:00 - 14:00
“All you need to know about Client Journey Mapping – Part 2”
Venue: London TBC
Speakers: Ben Kent of Meridian West and Mark South of turntwo

This is part 2 of a 2 part series. Attendance at Part 1 is not essential.

Most professional firms are reasonably good at gathering feedback data on their clients. But data often fails to communicate the frustrations and experiences of clients. A story can do that, and one of the best storytelling tools in business is the customer  journey map.

This will be an interactive round-table session with group work and practical exercises which will build upon the theory delivered in Part 1.  More details to be released very shortly

30th March 2017 12:00 - 14:00

“The Game is changing - Can Marketing and BD keep up"”
Venue: London TBC
Speakers: Gordon Brown, Managing Director, ClientSavvy and David Irvine, Client Development Director, DWF

Selling in professional services has never been as competitive.  Firms and partners now need a different type and quality of input from Marketing and Business Development.

In this interactive lunchtime session, Gordon Brown will outline the game changers and the challenges Marketing and Business Development face. David Irvine will share how he and his team are responding to those challenges and how he is structuring Marketing and BD to work better together and be more effective.
