As a (Senior) Marketing Manager in the PwCs Consulting Marketing team, your role is to develop and implement a national marketing strategy for the national Cyber Growth Play, based on the objectives. The role will help enable the growth play to meet its business objectives and drive demand, increase brand awareness and position ourselves in the market as experts.

Experience and skills include strategic marketing, best practice go-to-market implementation, integrated campaign management and evaluation of marketing and sales enablement programs across multiple channels to market.

This role sits within the Consulting Markets Team and will focus on our Cyber and Digital Trust service offerings which are part of the one PwC growth play “Cyber”. The core function of the role is to strategically drive PwC’ s positioning, growth and optimal client experience for the Cyber growth play.

What does this role entail?

  • To position themselves as a senior member of the Consulting Markets team, actively contributing to developing and executing on the go-to-market strategy for Cyber service offerings
  • Ability to influence the Cyber JV team, be seen as a strategic marketing expert who facilitates business growth – have a clear and articulate vision for how marketing can proactively enable and achieve commercial outcomes
  • Collates, interprets client, market, industry research to draw client insights
  • Be comfortable with challenging the status quo by using your marketing and business acumen to recommend more impactful solutions to market - whilst meeting the business objectives
  • In consultation with SME’s, creates the one PwC marketing Cyber strategy ( incl. channel /media/content strategy) and implement the relevant marketing tactics, for the assigned service offerings, ensuring the marketing activities enable and support the broader Consulting business priorities, whilst adhering to the overarching PwC Brand positioning
  • Can facilitate discovery sessions/ workshops with project stakeholders to ‘unpack’ the client problem
  • Ability to develop compelling value propositions and positioning strategies
  • Experience in developing and executing activity across multiple marketing channels: sponsorships, events, digital, social media, thought leadership, podcasts, blogs, video, web
  • To implement integrated campaigns and marketing activities within the strategy and on budget - including a compelling internal comms and engagement element
  • Ability to respond agiley to market demands by providing integrated, end-to-end marketing advice from strategy through to execution
  • Critically review content and copy for thought leadership, collateral and webcopy for consistency, tone of voice and relevance for the target audience
  • Work closely with the other firmwide marketers to ensure any aligned priorities and growth plays are being driven holistically and on strategy
  • Work closely with relevant marketers for marketing activity development & implementation, e.g Assurance Marketing for Cyber, State marketers, industry and firmwide marketers
  • Champion PwC’s brand by leveraging the visual and verbal expression
  • To be responsible for implementing and tracking all marketing activity aligned to your service offerings
  • Briefing and project managing internal and external teams, agencies and suppliers – research, communications, advertising, copywriting, web, design, social media, events etc.
  • Demonstrate strong written communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical content for external multiple channels (incl webcopy/eDMs/event invites/social media posts)
  • Critically review content and copy for thought leadership, collateral and webcopy for consistency, tone of voice and relevance for the target audience
  • Build key messages for campaigns, events, and discrete projects
  • Share ideas, learnings, feedback on campaigns/activities, contribute to team reporting and updates
  • Ensure all brand, risk & legal compliance is adhered to
  • Seeks advice and escalates issues with possible solutions where appropriate.

What Are We Looking For

  • Formal qualifications in marketing or communications
  • Understanding and experience in marketing best practice both traditional and online
  • Seen as an expert in designing, leading, executing and measuring integrated marketing campaigns/programs across all channels.
  • Experience in marketing analytics, reporting on marketing ROI and recommendations for improvement
  • Resilient and pragmatic, you’re able to overcome disruption, move forward to achieve objectives in a commercial and strategic way, escalating issues where relevant
  • Experience in assessing sponsorships and events for maximum ROI and leverage, aligned to the business growth objectives
  • Strong understanding of paid, owned and earned channels
  • Strong digital knowledge and skills across marketing-related platforms, especially Salesforce
  • Strong project and budget management skills, with ability to be highly collaborative
  • Strong stakeholder relationship management and influencing skills
