Job Summary

Reporting to the Regional Clients and Marketing Manager NSW/ACT (NAC), the Marketing Advisor will be supporting AECOM’s Environment and Power and Industrial (P&I) Business line across the NAC Region (Sydney, Newcastle and Canberra).

You will work within our team to drive and support marketing initiatives and events across NAC. This highly practical and delivery focused role will focus on supporting strategic positioning, external profiling, brand awareness and client engagement.

You will be part of a collaborative and fun team that proactively designs and implements new ideas that create better client experiences and drive growth. We provide an open and welcoming team environment where you can achieve the best in your professional and personal development.

This role will be based in Sydney and you will be required to travel to our Canberra office and occasionally to our Newcastle office to support our wider team.

Some of your responsibilities include but not limited to;

  • Design and implement marketing campaigns to support strategic positioning and sector profiling.
  • Using creative methods to develop brand and increase brand awareness.
  • Marketing initiatives including thought leadership, client engagement activities, sponsorships, advertising, awards, social media, events and conferences.
  • Collaborate with the ANZ communications team to oversee external communications being executed for our Environment and P&I business.
  • Work with the Environment and P&I business leadership teams and relevant Client Account Managers to identify new opportunities and drive positioning activities for major pursuits.
  • Work closely with the Pursuits Manager NAC to identify business critical bids for Environment and P&I business and provide strategic advice on the development of key pursuits and client plans.
  • Collaborating with the NAC marketing team to support clients, develop outcome-focused marketing campaigns and drive efficiency.

Minimum Requirements

  • Degree qualified in marketing or a related discipline.
  • Extensive years of experience in marketing in a business-to-business or professional services environment are essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a complex environment and use influencing skills to drive initiatives.
  • Highly collaborative; willing to share knowledge, experience, ideas and expertise.
  • Team player: ability to motivate others and create energy around strategic pursuits and marketing campaigns.
