An exciting opportunity for an experienced Client Development Manager to join the Australian Government Solicitor Client Services team in delivery of relationship management, advice, support and client service strategy.

About the Role

As Client Development Manager, you will work with the National Manager Client Services and Client Service Managers to:

  • Develop and implement effective client relationship and business development strategies including communicating and liaising with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders to identify and pursue innovative ways to streamline AGS services and processes
  • Support practice groups with the delivery of market development initiatives
  • Project manage bid responses
  • Manage legal service agreements, including working with others in AGS to coordinate the delivery of value-add services and reporting to clients
  • Manage or contribute to corporate projects and whole-of-organisation initiatives
  • Actively contribute to the coaching of junior team members, including the appropriate distribution of workflow.

About You

This role will suit an experienced candidate with excellent communication and writing skills as well as attention to detail with professional qualifications and experience in marketing or communications. We are seeking applications from people with:

  • A minimum of 4 years’ experience in a client development, business development or relationship management role
  • A strong track record of being able to develop and maintain relationships and generate business opportunities
  • Excellent communication skills to appropriately deliver to the knowledge, experience and expectations of the audience
  • Experience in a professional services firm.
