Ampersand has partnered with a national law firm who have had a strong performance over the last 12 months and as a result of continued growth opportunities, are looking to appoint a strategic Business Development Manager, based out of their impressive Brisbane offices
Working closely with the Head of Business Development, Partners and the broader BD & Marketing team, this role will see you will develop and execute firm-wide business development initiatives, that facilitate revenue growth across key practice groups and raise the profile of the firm in Australia. Driving new business and revenue opportunities within the Queensland Government account will be your first task to tackle.
This position is an integral role giving you extensive profile across the firm. Key responsibilities of the position include; implementation and maintenance of best practice client account management to deliver revenue growth; implementation of the firm's practice strategy; development and implementation of business development plans (alongside other Business Development Managers); increase of the firm's penetration across the market; successful completion of a number of high quality tenders and pursuits within agreed time frames; and contribution to the development and effectiveness of the national business development and marketing team.
To be successful, you will have at least 5 years proven experience within the professional services sector, specifically within a marketing or business development function as well as relevant tertiary qualifications. You will be a presentable, resilient self-starter with the confidence to work with a dynamic partnership as well as be proactive and tenacious in approach.
