Ampersand are partnering with a leading law firm in Sydney, who are looking to appoint an experienced Business Development & Marketing Manager to spearhead the revenue generation activities for their Insurance group.

Working closely with the Head of Marketing & Business Development, Partners and the broader firm, you will develop and execute business development and marketing initiatives, both firm wide and within local office, that facilitate revenue growth across the insurance group.

This position is an integral function within one of the leading practice groups, giving you extensive profile across the well renowned firm. Key responsibilities of the position include; implementation and maintenance of best practice client management to deliver revenue growth; implementation of the firm's practice strategy; development and implementation of business development plans (alongside other Business Development Managers); increase of the firm's penetration across the market; successful completion of a number of high quality tenders and pursuits within agreed time frames; and contribution to the development and effectiveness of the national business development and marketing strategy.

To be successful, you will have at least 6 years proven experience within the legal, accounting or insurance sector, specifically within a marketing or business development function and be a strong communicator, both written and orally. You will be a presentable, resilient self-starter with the confidence to work with a demanding partnership as well as be proactive and tenacious in approach.
