What will you do?

We have an exciting career opportunity for an experienced Marketing and Communications Advisor to join our Business Support Services team.

The Marketing & Communications Advisor will work with the M&C Business Partners (BP) – Built Environment and Advisory to implement and deliver integrated M&C programs that enhance Aurecon’s global Built Environment and Advisory business strategies and differentiate Aurecon from competitors by our focus on the future and our human-centric understanding of clients and their customers. The role will be part of an innovative and creative M&C team.

We know the work we do is vital in assisting our world’s economic development and, it’s the technical expertise and the depth of knowledge of our people that really sets us apart. Here are the key things you will do to ‘bring ideas to life’;

  • Execute and deliver the marketing and communications plans, advancing the strategy of our global Built Environment and Advisory businesses as well as Aurecon’s overarching brand, reputation and work winning goals.
  • Advocate and amplify our global service line service offerings and sub-markets internally and externally.
  • Increase the professional profile of our eminent people both internally and externally including via active social media engagement, conference participation, award submissions, client workshops etc.
  • Capture materials/assets and promote eminent projects.
  • Develop and execute thought leadership programs, material and events that differentiate through innovation. This may include face-to-face engagement with key clients and decision-makers  to thought leadership, events, conferences, seminars and workshops.
  • Manage and execute eminence marketing strategies for specialist capabilities.
  • Manage and execute the internal communications strategy to connect and inform our global team across multiple channels.
  • Work with the M&C Corporate Communications team to support the communication strategy. This may include writing media releases and articles or developing content for visual and other media, as well as internal communications channels.
  • Develop a collaborative and co-creative working relationship with the broader M&C team (Corporate, Markets, Regions and Manila M&C) to deliver global M&C projects as well as support whole of business initiatives.
  • Provide support to help manage the M&C Built Environment and Advisory budgets and provide regular reporting to stakeholders on ROI of campaigns and initiatives.

What can you bring to the team?

Firstly, you will share our genuine passion for re-imaging engineering and be someone that actively pursues continuous learning to help shape the future.

Our ideal candidate will possess:

  • Comparable experience in a Marketing and Communications role
  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing and Communications, Journalism, Corporate Affairs or related area
  • Excellent written and personal communication skills, with a track record in successfully executing content marketing campaigns
  • High degree of familiarity with digital platforms and their use in integrated marketing campaigns
  • Ability to support a communications/corporate affairs strategy that requires a strong writing ability
  • Agility in straddling planning and execution with hands-on operational responsibilities
  • Excellent project management
  • Resilient individual who is effective in engaging with stakeholders and working with virtual teams across multiple offices and countries to achieve outcomes
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively and respectfully with diverse teams through collaboration and communication
  • Enjoys a fast-changing environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Advanced MS Office skills
  • Experience in built environment and/or advisory would be helpful but not essential
