This important role will be part of our successful Shared Services team, which includes People & Culture, IT, Clients & Markets, Finance and Reception & Facilities.

About The Role

We currently have an exciting career opportunity for an experienced and driven Content & Bids Executive to join our Clients & Markets team on a full-time permanent basis.

The Content & Bids Executive will support the firm through the management and development of compelling thought leadership pieces and bid documents.

The role is responsible for:

  • Writing content for articles, online posts and video scripts
  • Developing thought leadership pieces in conjunction with subject matter experts
  • Supporting strategic, high value bids through persuasive writing and development of messaging
  • Project managing bids in line with the firm’s bid framework, ensuring on-time delivery and a high standard of quality
  • Assist bid partners and teams to articulate client-focused solutions that meet the brief
  • Guiding partners / senior staff on achieving the best outcome for the firm for all bids managed, including Go / No Go advice
  • Championing the BDO brand, ensuring all bids comply with brand requirements
  • Using the CRM system to capture relevant information, and tracking and reporting on bid outcomes

What we are looking for?

The successful candidate will possess the following:

  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, PR or Journalism
  • Proven track record of bid development experience gained within the professional services industry
  • Demonstrated understanding of the opportunity cycle from pursuit through to close
  • Excellent persuasive writing skills
  • Strong proofreading and editing skills, with exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and team working skills, with the ability to develop rapport at all levels of the organisation
  • Confidence coordinating input from subject matter experts, including senior leaders
  • The ability to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet firm deadlines
  • A high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Word), including document design, layout and formatting
  • Basic proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Photoshop
