Current Opportunity

BDO is currently sourcing a Digital Marketing Assistant to join the National Clients and Markets team, based in Brisbane. As part of the team, you will be responsible for providing support to the National Web and Multimedia Specialist and National Digital Marketing Senior Executive in delivering digital related activities for the firm.

This is a 12 month fixed term contract.

Some of your key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Assist with content management and uploading of content to the website, intranet, and SharePoint sites.
  • Manage small scale social media advertising campaigns.
  • Set-up emails and manage analytics of marketing automation tool Act-On.
  • Provide webinar and podcast coordination and assistance.
  • Provide support and assistance with video editing.
  • Assist with support desk function.
  • Engage with local Clients & Markets teams.

What we’re looking for

You will enjoy being part of a collaborative and interactive team but also have the motivation to take ownership of your role and meet deadlines with minimal supervision. 

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Tertiary qualified in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field.
  • Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) – experience working with Kenitco and SharePoint would be highly regarded.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, especially Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Dreamweaver.
  • Digital advertising experience.
  • Experience in managing multiple social media accounts.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Team player with mature communication and interpersonal skills.
