About the Role

As Internal Engagement Coordinator you’ll play a critical role in the internal communication function, you’ll ensure clarity and quality of the main communication channels, as well as timely communication to all staff. You’ll develop, implement and evaluate communication strategies, and play a hands-on role in executing the strategies across the firm.

Your key responsibilities and duties in this role include:

  • Internal communication
  • Content and digital marketing
  • Supporting execution of the firm’s strategic initiatives
  • Client Experience/Business Development
  • Sponsorship & events
  • CRM/Marketing automation
  • Contribution to the Marketing & Client Relations Team.

This role is a 12 month fixed-term opportunity offering part-time, flexible work arrangements.

About the team

The BDO in Brisbane Clients & Markets team works closely with the Partner group to deliver go-to-market marketing and client experience programs that align with the needs of our people and clients. Our team is passionate about business growth, the investment returns on projects and campaigns we execute, and is highly attentive to the conversations and positioning needed to build our business. Our major priorities are to profile our people and industry leading services, both internally and externally, and to tackle the issues that matter.

What we’re looking for

A friendly and professional Internal Engagement Coordinator. You’ll enjoy being part of a collaborative and interactive team but also have the motivation to take ownership of your role and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.

About You

To be successful in this role you’ll ideally have the following:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing or a related field
  • Relevant marketing experience, in a partnership structure/professional services business would be desirable
  • Ability to manage and prioritise multiple projects
  • Ability to develop rapport at all levels
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proven ability to write newsworthy, compelling content, which is tailored to a range of channels
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Skills with Adobe Creative Suite software (InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere Pro and Illustrator) would be highly regarded
