Business Development at Beca
Our Business Development (BD) team focuses on the heart of our business: our clients. We provide advice to all levels of our organisation on how to engage with clients to “See More, Win More and Deliver Better”. As a Business Development Advisor, you will be responsible for providing strategic advice and support to initiatives and activities that continue to build market profile, strengthen client relationships and ultimately win work.
This is a maternity leave cover position – 12 month fixed term contract.
Based in Melbourne, you will primarily be working closely with our Australia Buildings team, whilst also supporting the wider Trans-Tasman Buildings business. Our Australian team has expanded and has strong aspirations to grow in the market. This provides you with the autonomy to promote BD best practice and draw on the knowledge and skills of the wider team. In conjunction with key stakeholders, you will help develop and drive our market profile building activities, pipeline and pursuit management and bidding processes.
Reporting to our Buildings BD Team Leader who is based in NZ, you’ll also work closely with market facing leaders, client relationship teams, as well as marketing and BD team members to support the wider Buildings business around Australia and New Zealand.
We are looking for someone who is tenacious, confident and a team player. You must have a proactive approach and excellent commercial acumen. You will need to be a skilled writer and have exceptional communication and influencing skills. A background in marketing and communications is preferred and a background in professional services would be advantageous.
