The Role

Cardno is seeking a Senior Marketing & Communications Advisor to be based in St Leonards and support our NSW/ACT region. Reporting to the Brisbane based APAC Marketing & Communications Leader, you will perform a wide range of marketing and communications activities to promote the company’s strategic goals and share achievements with internal and external audiences.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Promoting the Cardno brand throughout NSW/ACT
  • Developing effective marketing materials to support promotion of Cardno to targeted audiences and the wider consulting market. This would include: website announcements, social media posts, reports, presentations, bid documents and award submissions
  • Contributing content to Cardno’s global company website which is engaging and reinforces our key areas of expertise
  • Contributing to a range of internal communications, including intranet updates and General Manager updates and other internal initiatives
  • Facilitating internal and external events such as industry networking, Town Halls, internal presentations and webinars
  • Coordinating and facilitating a wide range of client activities including sponsorships, educational seminars, workshops and other events

About You

To be successful you will display –

  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications, PR or Journalism
  • Demonstrated five years’ experience working in a similar marcomms role
  • Professional Services industry experience will be highly regarded
  • Advanced level skills in Microsoft office programs e.g. Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Ability to work both independently but also collaborate within a team to manage multiple projects and conflicting priorities while maintaining consistency
  • High level attention to detail, strong copywriting, editing and proof reading skills
  • High level interpersonal skills with the ability to positively liaise with key stakeholders
  • A positive and proactive attitude
