The Role

Be a part of a dedicated, innovative team and build your career. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Coordinator to join our Clients and Markets team in Sydney in a permanent role. Working with our Corporate/M&A group, you will be joining a high performing team and become a key part of delivering our client and market goals. This group works across industries, so you will develop experience in the Private Equity and Energy & Resources sectors.

You will be someone who is eager to learn and enjoys working with a variety of people across a business. You will naturally challenge the status quo and be energised by delivering quality work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

This role provides a strong base of experience and will see you:

  • Assist with coordinating materials around tenders and proposals, capability statements, practice profile submissions, and lawyer profiles;
  • Assist in maintaining Corporate website content and in managing client communications and thought leadership opportunities, including developing knowledge of emerging areas;
  • Research general market, industries, competitors and prospective clients in support of business development initiatives;
  • Assist with coordinating internal and client communications, and logistics and administration for internal and external client events such as webinars, seminars and briefings; and
  • Participate in various business development projects designed to achieve more effective and consistent business development practices and processes.

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Be a collaborator and connector with an ability to build relationships across all levels;
  • Be curious, with the ability to ask good questions (and listen effectively);
  • Have a proactive, enthusiastic, positive approach to your work;
  • Have a tertiary qualification in marketing or a business-related discipline or some experience in a corporate business development or marketing role;
  • Be a strong communicator with exceptional oral and written communication skills, organisational skills and attention to detail; and
  • Work well under pressure and have an ability to deal with different stakeholders.

The Clients and Markets team

The Clients and Markets team provides advice and services to the business across the full spectrum of marketing and BD - from brand awareness and design, media and communications, research and analysis, opportunity identification, pursuits and bid management to key client account management. The team is known as a strong training ground for up and coming talent.
