Coordinator/Adviser - Clients and Markets

The role

An exciting permanent opportunity has arisen for a Clients & Markets Coordinator or Adviser to provide professional support to the Head of Clients, Client Relationship Managers (CRM), and relevant Partners to strengthen and develop the firm's relationships and revenue position with key clients and potential pursuit clients. This support includes the development and implementation of business and client development initiatives, including an active role in the Client Service and Client Feedback Program.

Key responsibilities

This face-paced, exciting role will see you:

  • Provide support to the CRM in the implementation of the Client Relationship Management Program for a number of key clients. Support will include creating, updating and monitoring client plans, identifying cross-sell opportunities, and co-ordinating client team meetings as well as client events.
  • Provide support to the Client Pursuit Program Manager to establish new clients and grow revenue from new and existing clients through pursuit opportunities. Support will include research, implementing and executing action plans and complimenting initiatives of the CRM program.
  • Provide support to the CRM and Head of Clients to help drive the Client Service and Client Feedback program. Support will include drafting internal communications to the senior stakeholders; collecting, interpreting and reporting data in line with the program objectives; coordinating interviews and reviews and working to roll out innovative technology driven solutions.
  • Analyse general market, industry specific, competitor and prospective client research in support of Clients and Markets initiatives.
  • Prepare marketing collateral (including capability statements, client and industry presentations etc) in accordance with brand parameters.
  • Develop profile and credibility with internal clients (ie. lawyers and support staff).
  • Monitor new business and tender opportunities and prepare relevant tender responses and submissions.
  • Participate in various national and department-based Clients & Markets projects.
  • Proactively liaise with Communications Services.

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A tertiary qualification in a business-related discipline marketing or law highly regarded
  • Between 2-4 years marketing, communications, business development, or related experience
  • Experience with tenders/proposals in a professional services environment or government - strategy, writing and project management highly regarded
  • Highly developed communication skills, both written and oral with exceptionally strong attention to detail
  • Highly disciplined with ability to prioritise and manage a range of complex tasks in a deadline driven environment
  • Strong stakeholder management and project management skills
  • The ability to build and maintain effective relationships at all levels
  • Technical skills in Microsoft Office and a sound understanding of databases (InterAction an advantage)
  • Energy, drive, resilience and a sense of urgency and commitment that will enable you to influence stakeholders and outcomes in a considered manner

In addition to this, we're looking for a resilient, self-starter. Someone who is able to work autonomously and is focused on attention to detail and providing an outstanding service to their clients
