The Opportunity

A new opportunity exists for a communications professional to join our energetic and collaborative Communications team. This is a permanent role which can be based in either Sydney or Melbourne.

As the Communications Coordinator, you will work closely with members of the Communications team along with other teams across the firm to apply your energy and enthusiasm to:

  • Preparing high-quality written content for various channels, including emails, social media, internal newsletters, Corrs’ website and other forms of communications;
  • Creating, building and editing marketing emails such as newsletters, EDMs, and event invitations;
  • Taking ownership of and providing best-practice advice on the distribution of email campaigns;
  • Collating, analysing and reporting on media coverage;
  • Various proofreading and copy editing tasks;
  • Project‑managing ad-hoc firm-wide communication initiatives;
  • Assist with events where required; and
  • Assisting with the day‑to‑day activities of the Communications team.

Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Exceptional attention to detail and follow up abilities;
  • Demonstrated drive and initiative;
  • An ability to work well under pressure and operate as part of a team;
  • Confidence in working with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders;
  • A professional and responsive approach to stakeholder management;
  • Strong project management capabilities, including the ability to be outcome‑orientated and deadline‑driven; and
  • A communications degree or relevant tertiary qualification.

Experience in an agency or professional services setting will be viewed as advantageous. Candidates with a working knowledge of email marketing or marketing automation software will also be viewed positively.
