With a number of exciting changes taking place at the firm, an opportunity currently exists for a full-time Communications Project Manager to join the Communications Team and lead internal communication projects nationally on a 12-month contract.

The opportunity

As the Communications Project Manager, you will work closely with the Head of Communications to lead, manage and implement firm-wide internal communications projects, with your primary project being our intranet re-launch. You will be responsible for, and apply your energy and enthusiasm, to:

  • Consulting with internal key stakeholders regarding the needs, functionality and content required for our new intranet
  • Identifying and appointing a suitable platform/agency to partner with
  • Working with various teams within the firm to create appropriate content
  • Working with Technology and other key areas of the business to test and refine the product
  • Taking the lead in the roll-out and implementation of the intranet
  • Being responsible for initial fine-tuning post launch
  • Taking the lead on other key internal communications projects and initiatives

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Experience in the launch and/or day-to-day management of a business’ intranet (experience in launching/managing an intranet in a professional services and/or large business environment will be highly regarded)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong project management capabilities, including the ability to be outcome orientated and deadline driven
  • A professional and responsive approach to client service, demonstrating drive and initiative
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence
  • Excellent attention to detail and follow-up skills
  • An ability to manage multiple tasks and projects and demonstrate a continual improvement mindset
  • An ability to work well under pressure and operate as part of a team
  • A communications degree or relevant business qualification
