We are currently looking to recruit a Business Development Director/ Pursuit Leader who will be responsible for leading all aspects of our growth strategy for multiple industry verticals across Australia and New Zealand. You will play a key role in future business generation by identifying new business opportunities through networking within the industries.

The Business Development Director/ Pursuit Leader will focus on a defined list of prospect targets that fits with the firm's strategic direction, as well as a select number of existing accounts where there is significant potential for additional revenue expansion. Additionally, the Business Development Director/ Pursuit Leader will work closely with local office partners to align business development efforts to target account lists and office priorities/initiatives.

About you

You have a successful track record in business development within the accounting space, with experience ideally gained from a big 4 or mid-tier firm.

You have extensive knowledge of complex sales processes that involve multiple team members and decision makers.

In addition to the above you will possess the following;

  • Experience in liaising and presenting to senior management
  • Strong business development skills
  • Solid commercial acumen and experience with pricing
  • Excellent communication skills with all levels within an organisation
  • Demonstrated facilitation and coaching skills
  • Robust negotiating and influencing skills
