Role responsibilities

  • Work closely with partners to implement strategic business and client plans

  • Develop profile and credibility with internal clients, actively promoting the BD function

  • Understand the firm’s client base, their businesses and the markets in which they operate

  • Analyse market, industry, competitor and prospective client research in support of marketing and business development initiatives

  • Prepare and project manage tender submissions and monitor new business opportunities

  • Prepare tailored marketing collateral in accordance with brand parameters

  • Coordinate directory and award submission process

  • Develop and drive client focused events, with the aim to deepen client relationships and increase revenue.

Required skills and qualifications

  • A tertiary qualification in a business-related discipline

  • Experience working in professional services, preferably in a legal or partnership environment

  • Experience in coordinating the development of tenders/proposals

  • Highly developed communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong attention to detail

  • Ability to prioritise and manage a range of complex tasks in a deadline driven environment

  • Strong stakeholder management and project management skills

  • Energy, drive and resilience that will enable you to influence stakeholders and outcomes in a considered manner.
