Resourcing Executive - APAC | Global Leader in B2B Consulting

Dalton Handley
24 June 2019

  • Highly successful global leader in B2B consulting
  • Fantastic opportunity to join a growing business
  • Develop strong relationships with clients and candidates

A global leader in B2B consulting is looking for an enthusiastic, driven and high-performing Resourcing Executive to join their Asia Pacific team. Based in the Sydney office, you will be instrumental in driving strong candidate recruitment into the business.

Role and responsibilities

  • Owning the coordination of the candidate assessment process, from initial contact through to endorsement onto the panel of ‘best in class’ consultants.
  • Working closely with the Resourcing Manager in reviewing new applications, agreeing next steps and working through the process.
  • You’ll be an integral part of the process in understanding the consultants' regional pipeline, their backgrounds and where they want to go.
  • As Asia comes online, your focus will turn to coordinating upcoming interviews and tracking the information in the recruitment system (which feeds into the weekly talent report for the region). Working with the Resourcing Manager(s) you will follow up on past interviews and work on next steps for candidates.
  • There will be opportunities to sit in on conference calls and interviews and build your understanding of how the broader business runs. This will give you the confidence to represent the firm both to interested consultants and the existing panel.
  • Outside of the core recruitment processes, this role also provides opportunity to get involved in coordinating talent events, attend regional and global meetings and getting involved in team projects.

Required skills and qualifications

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications
  • 1-4 years’ relevant experience, ideally in the B2B environment in resourcing, HR, talent, business development, account management or consulting
  • Proven organisational skills, excellent attention to detail and willingness to help and get involved.
  • The ability to self-start and learn quickly, with an adaptable, collaborative and resilient personality.
  • A genuine enthusiasm for the business sector and a grasp of the potential future opportunities.
