An opportunity has now arisen for an experienced winning work specialist to support our client’s regional bidding activities, developing and managing bids for the Transport and Resources Sector business. You will be part of a business generation team spanning Australia, New Zealand and Singapore.

The right person for this role loves collaborating within teams and across disciplines to produce best possible work and create meaningful professional connections with clients.

Role responsibilities

  • Full accountability for bid management to achieve sophisticated, consistent and highly focused bids and offers, managing multiple specific tender processes, and working with strategy leaders and reviewers to ensure winning strategies are embedded in every offer
  • You will welcome working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, as well as being autonomous when required
  • Contribute to the development of improvements to bidding process and success rates within the Sector
  • Coordinate small to medium-sized tender processes, including bid scheduling, compliance, and document production
  • Support the development and production of tender responses for large, major multidisciplinary infrastructure projects
  • Liaise with key personnel and others within the region to ensure timely delivery of information required to meet internal and external (client) deadlines and priorities
  • Cooperate with other team members to achieve work outcomes
  • Represent the firm during internal and external bidding activities.

Required skills and qualifications

  • Have an interest in the industry and a passion for winning work
  • Be a confident communicator and influencer, both verbal and written
  • Minimum two years business experience
  • Professional qualification desirable
  • Knowledge of bidding best practice, preferably within a similar field
  • Experience in developing expressions of interest, proposals, reports, capability statements and other relevant documents
  • Excellent numeracy skills essential
  • Microsoft Office Suite 2010.
