This role is an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Executive to join a highly successful team looking after the Real Estate sector. Based out of Sydney, you will be collaborating with the Business Development and broader Marketing teams, as well as key stakeholders to generate strategy and win the firm work.

Role responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the client and business development strategies for the Real Estate sector and practice group
  • Support the implementation of plans and initiatives across sectors and geographic markets
  • Identify client feedback opportunities, execute a plan to ensure key client and matter coverage
  • Support client teams with client management and relationship development activities
  • Develop proposals value proposition and draft content for key sections
  • Create high quality, client focussed marketing collateral, pitches, tenders, directory submissions and reports
  • Work with sector groups to develop Thought Leadership campaigns and other go-to-market strategy
  • Support Managers to monitor business development budgets
  • Maintain best practice brand standard for all documents
  • Maintain CRM system and client data, reporting and market research
  • Coordinate client engagement, sponsorship and industry partnerships.

Required skills and qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree essential – preferably Marketing, Business, Law, Commerce or Arts
  • Three years proven experience in a business development role within professional services
  • Experience in bids management highly regarded
  • Experience in the real estate sector highly regarded
  • Be a confident communicator, both verbal and written, with the ability to influence and win the confidence of management, stakeholders and clients
  • Show attention to detail, drive, initiative and a willingness to learn
  • Be proactive and utilise own judgement to push forward and solve problems
  • Understanding of CRM software’s and databases desirable
  • Have a genuine interest in business development, marketing and client experience
  • Work both autonomously and part of a multi-layered team
  • Ability to undertake research tasks and apply analytical skills
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and be flexible to move between multiple projects to tight timetables
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite 2013
