Business Development and Marketing Adviser

GHD is looking for a skilled Business Development and Marketing specialist to help us tell our story!

Reporting to the Proposals and Marketing team leader you will be responsible for refining, promoting and extending the GHD brand in the external marketplace for the South Australian Region.

To be successful in this role you will have strong communication skills and the ability to establish, influence and nurture relationships. You will also have demonstrable experience working with senior stakeholders to achieve results and sound judgement and decision-making skills

This role has two key focus areas being:

Marketing & Events

  • Develop marketing and communications materials
  • Develop and implement a strategic marketing plan for the SA region in line with local and global business objectives
  • Strategise need for and produce marketing and promotional material including capability statements, project case studies
  • Provide marketing support on programs aligned to key clients, which may include development of thought leadership articles, social media, video content etc and oversight of memberships, eSurveys

Client Relationship Program

  • Work with Relationship Managers to help develop and execute business plans and client engagement activities
  • Coach Relationship Managers on relationship building strategies, client conversations and other business development skills
  • Facilitate client research and opportunity identification to develop strategies to increase revenue

What you would bring to the team:

  • Degree in Commerce, Marketing or Communications and demonstrated relevant experience in a similar role within a professional services firm
  • Exceptional writing and communication skills
  • Proficient in the use of InDesign, Word and Powerpoint
  • Strong organisational, project management and research skills
  • Ability to influence and negotiate for win/win outcomes
  • Proactive, solutions orientated and ability to operate with minimal direction
