To help us achieve our 2020 strategy we are seeking a Marketing and BD Coordinator to be a critical member of the team responsible for implementing this strategy within the Sydney market. It is an essential role in the wider marketing and BD team and works with senior stakeholders within the business as well as external suppliers. This would be an ideal opportunity for an enthusiastic marketer to gain a wide range of marketing and BD experience within a B2B services environment and be part of a high performing collaborative team.

Key tasks and responsibilities include:

  • Support the Sydney based industry marketing manager with national industry activity.
  • Support the business development manager in all aspects of tracking and driving BD activity with targets and priority clients.
  • Work closely with executive assistants in Sydney to support them on local initiatives, events and training.
  • Event coordination for local and national marketing & BD campaigns.
  • Support the industry marketing managers in implementing Sydney components of national campaigns, including collateral, EDMs and digital marketing, website, social media and events.
  • Development of well-crafted internal and external communications.
  • CRM integration and management.
  • End to end implementation of client communications including drafting, marketing automation campaign flows and scheduling.
  • Assist in proposal development.
  • Work with the in-house designer to develop quality collateral.
  • Manage the photography process and relationship with external photographer.
  • Work closely with other teams within the business to deliver on projects.
  • You will demonstrate strong initiative, a can-do enthusiastic attitude and a customer service focus.

This role will suit someone with the following skills, experience and attributes:

  • Minimum 3 years marketing experience, preferably in a professional services environment.
  • Degree qualifications in marketing or related business discipline.
  • Experience in working on multi-channel content marketing campaigns.
  • Experience in event management.
  • Experience working with CRM systems highly regarded.
  • Experience working on tenders and proposals would be highly regarded.
  • Experience with an electronic mail software system (experience with a marketing automation system highly regarded).
  • Experience working in a high pressure environment with multiple stakeholders and moving variables.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills are critical to this role.
  • Strong problem solving skills and the ability to think creatively.
  • Demonstrated resilience in a high-pressured environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong personal networks and influence at all levels with the firm.
  • Strong team player with the ability to work autonomously and with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and negotiate competing priorities in a constantly changing environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and highly organised.
  • Internal client focused ethos.
