We have an exciting opportunity for a bright Business Development Adviser to join our team. This role will offer support to our BD Manager to facilitate the delivery of our Finance practice group's BD strategy in Australia. You'll also be comfortable building collaborative relationships with our broader BD and communications teams to effectively deliver positive outcomes.

In this interesting and varied role you'll provide strategic support across the implementation of our client listening program and national Finance BD projects and initiatives.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Profile and data management in our credentials database.
  • Assisting with the preparation of BD materials including tenders, pitches and bids.
  • Providing support for Directory and Awards submissions; league table and deal sheets.
  • Oversee and report on Client Relationship accounts.
  • Carry out research tasks.
  • Support the execution of events, promotion of the Group's profile.


This role will be well suited to an enthusiastic and proactive individual with proven ability to think ahead, manage priorities and thrive in a dynamic environment.

You'll ideally have:

  • 2+ years previous experience in a role undertaking BD administration/advisory activities.
  • Strong work ethic with a willingness to accept ownership of and follow up on tasks without prompting.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • High level of organisational skills and strong lateral thinking ability.
  • Strong Microsoft Word, Powerpoint and Excel skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Excellent communication and drafting skills.
  • Professional and commercial approach to business, with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Tertiary qualified or a willingness to undertake further relevant tertiary study is highly desirable.

Our brand, marketing and digital team help position us as thought leaders amongst our target markets in the areas we most want to be known for, by creating intuitive and engaging collateral, events and campaigns.

As part of the business development team, you will play a hands-on role in contributing to the firm’s success and helping to achieve its objectives. This could be as one of our business development professionals, coaching partners on relationship building, or building our brand as one of our marketing, design or events professionals.
