The role

Your day to day role will involve working closely with the National Business Development Manager and the National Bid & Tender Executive to manage and drive bids, tenders and fee proposals, playing a central role in advising and coaching partners on best practice bidding.

The right person will have a driven, confident and positive approach, with a passion for creating and managing winning proposals.

Experience level

You might currently be sitting at Senior Advisor level, and have the experience and be able to demonstrate your capability to step up to Manager level.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage and drive tenders, bids and proposals across the firm nationally
  • Take ownership on managing the creation of a bid library, with support from the broader BD and Marketing team
  • Work closely with the National BDM on winning work for the firm
  • Coach and advise partners on winning strategies, key messaging, pricing and value adds
  • Work closely with the BD and Marketing team on bid related and other ad hoc projects.

Required experience and skills

  • 4+ years' business development/marketing experience, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment
  • At least 2-3 years solid experience in managing bids and tenders from beginning to end
  • Strong tender writing skills
  • Excellent time management and project management skills
  • A competitive spirit, tenacity, positive outlook
  • Adaptability and flexibility
  • Strong attention to detail.
