Our Brisbane office is our head office and our Business Development and Marketing team work directly with the office of the Managing Partner to support firm growth priorities.

The Role

An opportunity exists for a high performing Bid Advisor to join our team. The role will support and deliver on all aspects of the bid process.

Working with the Business Development team you will be required to draft, proof and deliver persuasive market facing bid documents. You will have excellent writing and project management skills.

This role reports to the Business Development & Marketing Director with day to day supervision from the Brisbane based Business Development Manager.

The Team

The HopgoodGanim BD team is cohesive, high performing and recognised by the partnership for the high value they deliver. Many of the team have joined the firm from other top tier practices and enjoy the opportunity to work directly with partners on a daily basis to deliver real results - all the while keeping respectable working hours. The team is a mix of very senior BD and Marketing professionals and those newer to the profession. Our common goal is to deliver exceptional BD and Marketing outcomes.

The Successful Candidate

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following attributes:

  • 4+ years’ experience in a business development / bids role in a professional services or corporate environment
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills and presentation skills
  • The ability to manage the demands of a busy role including high levels of organisation and efficiency and the ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
  • A strong sense of proactivity and curiosity to always deliver high levels of internal and external client service
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and experience working with all levels of seniority
  • High levels of attention to detail
  • Knowledge of Adobe Indesign, Photoshop and Acrobat desirable.
