Hunt & Hunt is a growing Victorian law firm. Celebrating 90 years of history with a proven success record. We are looking for an exceptional Business Development and Marketing Manager to join our team.

This role will encompass a broad range of BD&M duties including, but not limited to:

  • business development strategy;
  • assist Principals and lawyers to implement the BD aspects of individual plans;
  • preparing staff biographies;
  • write and edit website content;
  • produce effective marketing materials;
  • organise and run client events and marketing/networking functions;
  • experience in tenders and capability statement preparation;
  • ability to establish and implement marketing/business plans consistent with the firm's overall goals and objectives;
  • assist Principals and senior lawyers in evaluating and preparing award submissions.

We are seeking someone with:

  • relevant tertiary qualifications;
  • experience in a legal or professional services environment;
  • a commitment to the client, both internal and external;
  • broad understanding and experience in many of the tools and techniques of professional services marketing;
  • a general understanding of how to work in a partnership environment;
  • the ability to work with people at all levels;
  • excellent persuasive written and verbal communication skills including good attention to detail;
  • well-developed time/project management skills;
  • a high level of initiative and the ability to work autonomously; and
  • enthusiasm, energy and a "can do" attitude.

The successful candidate will need to have proven experience and confidence in managing the BD&M function. This role is as the sole BD&M representative in Victoria, whilst still having the opportunity to draw upon the knowledge and resources of external team members in Sydney.
