Jason McKenzie is an advocate for the role that the arts, communications and technology have in improving our quality of life.
Professionally, he helps large and complex businesses transform, adapt and survive in the digital economy.
McKenzie’s career started at News Limited before moving into custom magazines and publishing at Text Publishing. He then moved into branding and marketing in professional services and consulting.
He has presented to international marketing and technology conferences on improving the customer’s experience, increasing revenue, cost reduction and performance optimisation across digital channels.
Prior to founding Katanya, an international consultancy focused on digital strategy, McKenzie was the director of global online for PwC. In this role his work ranged from business and process redesign to international re-brands. He has over 20 years of experience in professional services marketing.
He served on the board of the Queensland Literary Awards and has served on the committees of AGDA and AIMIA in Queensland. He is the President of Alliance Francaise de Brisbane and served on the ICON board from 2012 until 2018.
