About the Role

We currently have opportunities available for Business Development Coordinators to join our Melbourne and Sydney, Market Development teams. Reporting to the Market Development Manager (MDM), this role will assist the National Client Growth team in driving the market development strategies of the firm.

What does the role involve?

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • In conjunction with the MDM, liaising with partners, practice group members and client teams on client growth initiatives
  • Assisting with project managing pursuits which includes the production of capability statements and responses to requests for tender
  • Researching, analysing and reporting on various industries and clients
  • Assisting with the management of memberships, sponsorships and organising a range of client events
  • Working with our CRM system, InterAction
  • Organising and assisting with profile building activities such as blogs and social media
  • Providing support for local market development activities in Australia, Asia and across the K&L Gates global platform.

You should be practical and proactive in your approach in addition to demonstrating strong problem solving skills. A high level of attention to detail is required, as well as excellent organisation, time management and communication skills.
