About the role
We are currently seeking an experienced Marketing Communications Specialist - Permanent Part - time opportunity to join our BD& Marketing team based in either our Sydney or Melbourne office in a permanent part time capacity.
The purpose of this role is to work with members of the Australian Business Development team, as well as the firm's lawyers, to help build the external profile of K&L Gates in Australia and enhance internal communications to create brand ambassadors.
What does the role involve?
Reporting to the PR and Communications Manager based in Sydney, this position assists in:

You should be practical and proactive in your approach in addition to demonstrating strong problem solving skills and work well in a team.
The ideal candidate will have previous work experience (around 2 - 5 years) in a professional environment in a similar role. You will hold tertiary qualifications in English, communications, marketing, journalism or a similar discipline and exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
You have strong organisational and interpersonal skills, exceptional stakeholder management skills, are detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects and daily deadlines. You have the ability to work independently, exercise good judgment and use discretion with sensitive information.
