About the Role

Contribute to the firm’s Business Development & Marketing (BD&M) strategy by driving market insight, business development, relationship building and brand enhancing activities. The Senior Manager, BD Operations & Strategic Projects is a senior and specialised member of the BD&M team that ensures the alignment of the BD operational and marketing technology ‘martech’ strategy with the firm’s broader client, sector & practice strategy.

The role is designed to support:

  • Our key integrated martech platform that drives strategic marketing and business development activities; and
  • Other key firmwide strategic projects designed to achieve operational effectiveness, manage risk and improve the client experience.

Reporting to the Head of BD Operations & Strategic Projects and working closely with the national and international BD&M teams and firm more broadly, this exceptional opportunity represents a chance to have a significant impact on one of the leading law firms across the region with recognised leaders in their field where you'll be both challenged by and exposed to a number of development opportunities.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Implementation, ongoing maintenance, governance and strategic enhancement of the firm’s martech platform, both in Australia and in key locations globally
  • Day-to-day operational management of core marketing technology platforms, teams, processes and cross-functional governance committees
  • Working closely with regional offices, ensuring consistent service quality and performance of key martech platforms
  • Drive a broader strategy that lifts the operational effectiveness across the business
  • Management of vendor relationships to maximise benefits of existing & future products.

What experience are we looking for?

  • Minimum of 8-10 years’ relevant experience with demonstrated track record of success in martech, technology platforms, or CRM systems within a corporate or professional services environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, strong presentation skills
  • Ability to manage numerous projects in a fast-paced environment working to tight timetables; composed under pressure
  • Ability to exercise judgment on when and how to progress key project deliverables
  • Strong project management and change management skills.
