About the Role

Our Shared Services teams are pivotal to our success. They work closely with our lawyers to help deliver an outstanding level of service to our Australian and international clients. Our Business Development, Communications and Marketing (BCM) team is a key team within our Shared Services function, that partners with the legal teams to win work and build strong client relationships.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen in our Business Development, Communications & Marketing team for a Digital Marketing & Communications Executive. Working with the Communications Manager, the Business Development team and legal teams, this role will assist with devising and executing marketing campaigns. You will also manage Maddocks’ digital channels, including our website and social media, and produce content for those platforms that will engage our busy clients and potential recruits. Further responsibilities will include:

  • Producing video and audio content for various internal and external communications platforms.
  • Driving the analysis of the effectiveness of content and communications campaigns and sharing/reporting findings
  • Providing guidance on available communications, data and analysis tools
  • Research and identification of new innovations and trends in content creation and dissemination using digital platforms and making recommendations for adoption within the firm
  • Assisting the firm’s intranet content authors to create engaging content through the provision of training and analysis about readership and engagement

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have at least 3 years’ experience in a similar role, within a corporate or professional services environment. You will also have the following qualifications and experience:

  • Degree Qualified in Digital Communications and/or Marketing, or a relevant/ related degree
  • Experience in the development and maintenance of effective digital channels
  • Experience in project managing important, complex communications projects.
  • Video and audio production experience
  • Strong communications skills, including the ability to lead and influence people.
  • Knowledge and experience of key software programs including SharePoint and the Adobe suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro and InDesign) and ability to provide training as necessary
