The Firm

Our client is a global and listed law firm, well known and recognised for their work in the field. Having entered the Australian market not long ago, they are experiencing massive growth and will continue to grow over the next 12-18 months.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Marketing & BD Manager to lead on delivering the Marketing and BD for the Australian Practice. Reporting into the Head of Marketing and BD based in the UK, you will work closely with your UK counterparts and manage a team of three Marketing Coordinators across the Australian business.

  • Profile raising through targeted campaigns.
  • Targeted campaigns and pitches.
  • Support the firm with the delivery of business plans and ensuring delivery to a common CRM Approach.
  • Delivery of communications eg. PR, Sponsorship, events and internal communications.
  • Create and deliver marketing plans and monitor outcomes to the wider teams.
  • Provide account management support to selected Key Clients.
  • Preparation of budgets and report on delivery outcomes.
  • Maintain relationships with all functions and disciplines of the firm.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have at least 2-3 years of experience as a Marketing & BD Manager or looking for a step up from your Marketing Coordinator role. Your background MUST be within the legal or professional services industry.

  • Degree in Marketing is desirable
  • Sound knowledge of CRM and business processes
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
