  • National law firm
  • Excellent career opportunity
  • Competitive salary package

The Firm

This highly innovative national law firm has recently experienced rapid expansion and this growth will continue. It is known for its leading-edge infrastructure, dynamic culture and national blue chip client portfolio. This role will be pivotal to that growth and, therefore, excellence, experience and personal gravitas are amongst the qualities the firm is looking for.

The Role

They are seeking a tender and bid professional who can not only continue their strong tendering culture, but also ensure compliance with best practice throughout the sometimes challenging tendering and bid process. This role will help to provide strategic direction on tendering opportunities and, in tandem, be part of the tender process to ensure that the appropriate support and resources are available to produce best practice, and most importantly, successful tenders.

The Candidate

You will be tertiary qualified in business or marketing/communications, have worked in a professional services environment and ideally (though not essential) you will have experience and some understanding of the tendering process in both public and private sectors. You may be currently a BD/marketing coordinator wishing to make the next career move or a BD and marketing professional wishing to take the next step by specializing in this area. If you have complementary BD and marketing experience within a professional services environment, that would be also extremely highly regarded.

Of course, influencing skills are vital to this role, but what is equally important is the ability to effectively and successfully work with both the bid and wider BD team. You will be a clear thinker, commercially savvy, astute, extremely focused, an exemplary time manager and someone who has the ability to cope with a wide spectrum of job demands and changing priorities.
