They are seeking a tender and bid professional who can not only develop and manage a strong tendering culture, but also ensure compliance with best practice throughout the sometimes challenging tendering and bid process. This role will provide strategic direction on tendering opportunities and, in tandem, ensure that the appropriate support and resources are available to produce best practice, and most importantly, successful tenders.
You will be tertiary qualified in business or marketing/communications, have worked in a professional services environment and have a wealth of experience and understanding of the tendering process in both public and private sectors. You may be currently a Bid Manager wishing to make the next career move or a BD and marketing professional wishing to take the next step by specializing in this area. If you have complementary BD and marketing experience within a professional services environment, that would be also highly regarded.
Of course, influencing skills are vital to this role, but what is equally important is the ability to effectively manage and develop the team. You will be a clear thinker, commercially savvy, astute, extremely focused, an exemplary project manager and someone who has the ability to cope with a wide spectrum of job demands and changing priorities.
