This highly regarded global law firm is looking to complement its very well supported and respected marketing team by appointing an energetic, committed, talented and career minded Business Development Coordinator, who is at the very beginning of their career.
The focus of the Business Development Coordinator role will be to provide administrative BD and marketing support to practice groups and will include events, understanding client retention and development activities and working with the team to support them. You will be trained, developed and cultivated so that you understand business development initiatives and why they are vital to the lifeblood of the firm. Similarly, you’ll be involved in aspects of tender and bid submissions as well as seeing what excellence means in a well targeted communication program to both existing and potential clients. By being exposed to these strategies and tactics, you’ll assume knowledge and experience by watching, learning, participating and listening. This right person in this role, with the right attitude, will have their career laid out in front of them, and it’s not often we can say that!
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate good writing skills, excellent project management skills, a willingness not just to roll your sleeves up but jump right in and demonstrate how committed to your career you are by helping with anything and everything. This role is going to be great for someone with energy to burn and a thirst to develop their career at a manageable and appropriate pace, (that goes without saying) and with a high potential and willingness to learn and be developed. A degree in marketing or a related discipline is essential and experience in professional services will be very highly regarded. Someone who is currently finishing their degree and might need to work part time for a few months will also be considered.
