Our Client & Market Growth team

Our national Client & Market Growth team at MinterEllison is a high performing and critical component of the firm and essential to the firm's success.  The team supports the partnership by providing the full spectrum of business development and marketing services to ensure the firm develops and maintains strong relationships with new and existing clients.

Your role

A fantastic opportunity exists in the Sydney team for a Market Growth Coordinator to support the development of strategy and driving growth with our Capital Markets and Corporate clients. As part of the national Client & Market Growth team, you will work collaboratively with market-leading legal and business development professionals.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Supporting (and at times leading) projects, initiatives, tenders, pitches and credentials in conjunction with other Client & Market Growth team members.
  • Supporting business unit and industry BD activities.
  • Developing marketing and profile raising initiatives in conjunction with the communications team.
  • Developing and building targeted marketing campaigns in conjunction with the Senior Market Growth Manager or other team members as appropriate from time to time.
  • Collecting and producing information for league tables, directories and credentials.
  • Organising client and industry research dossiers and providing written briefings.
  • Supporting partners' BD activities as directed.

We are looking for:

The ideal candidate will have experience working preferably in a professional services environment, with tertiary qualifications in business, marketing, communications or a related discipline (this may be over the top of a law degree).

In addition, you will display:

  • The ability to work effectively to achieve outcomes with a diverse range of stakeholders both internal and external in a high pressure and time critical work environment.
  • A positive, results oriented approach with a strong desire to learn.
  • Strong planning, execution and coordination skills.
  • Well-developed research, literacy and analytical skills and the ability to distil and disseminate written and verbal information.
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a small team with an adaptable approach.
  • Demonstrated project management and organisational skills.
