Our Client & Market Growth team

Our national Client & Market Growth team at MinterEllison is a high performing and critical component of the law firm and essential to the firm's success. The team supports the partnership by providing the full spectrum of business development and marketing services to ensure the firm develops and maintains strong relationships with new and existing clients.

Your role

We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated Corporate Communications Consultant in our Sydney office. In this role, you'll be a key player in delivering strategic external communications and employee engagement initiatives.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • work with multiple internal clients including the Senior Leadership Team and the office of the CEO to develop and implement sound communication strategies and programs for all employees, helping to drive employee engagement for the firm's strategy
  • create and implement internal communications strategies for the firm's external facing marketing campaigns
  • develop, manage and promote our internal communications channels and lead the development of new channels that could be used to engage with our people
  • lead the development and manage the writing of the firm's corporate publications such as the Annual Report and Corporate Responsibility Report
  • support the Markets & Brand Leader with the internal and external communications requirements for the office of the CEO and the firm's Leadership
  • manage, write and co-ordinate submissions for firm-wide legal directories and awards
  • ensure tone of voice and messaging across internal and external channels are aligned.

What you need

We are looking for an enthusiastic and resourceful professional with:

  • tertiary qualifications in communications, journalism, advertising, marketing or related field required
  • At least 3 years in a corporate communications role within a B2B environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Experience in writing across a range of relevant channels
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
  • Proven ability to build consensus and work effectively across departments and divisions, able to instil confidence from stakeholders
  • Motivated and proactive
  • previous experience in professional services, financial services, consulting or similar highly regarded
