About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a National Bids and Tender Manager, to work on tenders, bids and proposals from concept and completion, to help us retain and expand our growing government and financial institutions client base. This role will suit someone who wants to be a trusted adviser to our Partners, but also gets things done and follows through.

In this varied and fast paced role you will:

  • Lead, develop and coordinate large national and smaller state-based submissions
  • Work with our outsourced provider on strategically significant client pursuits
  • Project manage and write tenders, capability statements, professional profiles and related marketing collateral
  • Support and facilitate partners assessment of opportunities through rigorous qualification of opportunities (bid or no bid)
  • Liaise with our partners and their teams to develop and write content within agreed time frames
  • Proactively manage our panel renewal opportunities and timelines
  • Develop and maintain our tender content library and best practice methodology
  • Coach tender teams for beauty parades and pitch presentations
  • Conduct de-brief interviews internally and with clients and disseminate feedback throughout the firm.

About you

You will need:

  • 5 years’ tender management and writing experience in professional services, ideally in a legal environment
  • To understand our business and be agile enough to quickly develop relationships with Partners and other key stakeholders
  • A proven record of producing a range of content for a range of platforms in a deadline driven environment
  • Persuasive communication skills; both in writing and in person
  • Enthusiasm, ideas and initiative
