We’re offering a rare part-time opportunity (3 days per week) to a Marketing & Business Development Executive who is looking to work flexibly. As part of our national Marketing & Business Development team, you will help drive strategic initiatives, working closely with our partners across Australia to develop business within the Energy & Resources sector nationally and, at times, internationally.

To be successful, you must have solid experience within marketing and/or business development in the legal or professional services industry. You will need to be comfortable working autonomously, while also drawing on the support of our collaborative and inclusive team. The position suits an individual who manages stakeholders well and has a positive approach to tackling new challenges.

The key responsibilities and requirements for this role are as follows:

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute Business Development Plans for your specified teams.
  • Support domestic and global business development initiatives aligned with sector and practice strategies.
  • Work with the Business Development Manager to qualify, execute and manage pitches, bids and tenders.
  • Manage award, legal directory and league table submissions.
  • Support partners to deliver best practice client management.

Requirements

  • 3 - 5 years'. experience in marketing and/or business development, gained within the legal or professional services industry.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of the Energy & Resources sector.
  • Strong understanding of core business development and marketing programs employed in relationship (B2B) marketing.
  • Demonstrated project management skills; i.e. ability to work to tight timeframes, managing multiple tasks and stakeholder management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to influence and advise stakeholders.
  • Experience of business development budget monitoring.
  • Tertiary qualifications in marketing or equivalent.
