We are currently looking for a National Digital Marketing and Communications Coordinator to join our Business Development & Marketing Team. Reporting to the National Head of Business Development & Marketing, this newly created position is based in Sydney and is responsible for the support, creation and implementation of online strategies that will drive web traffic, brand awareness, and conversions across our communication platforms.

Working with a professional team, the key responsibilities of this role include:


  • Strategy development in collaboration with the National Head of BD & Marketing and other stakeholders.
  • Social media management including LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter, including writing content plans and scheduling content.
  • Website management including maintaining, and creating content for the firm.
  • Undertake performance reporting for websites, search marketing and social media.
  • Develop and monitor email campaigns, as well as coordinate digital marketing automation.
  • Event invitations – developing and sending via electronic direct mail and responding to inbound electronic communications.
  • Design – coordinate brand and design related projects including advertising and social media imagery.
  • Marketing Collateral – review and maintain marketing collateral including CVs and firm brochures, including development of new marketing collateral.
  • Media coverage – monitoring and reporting on Piper Alderman’s media coverage.
  • Serve as initial point of contact for all web and email activities.


  • Updating registers and databases; sourcing and coordination of marketing merchandise; updating intranet pages and miscellaneous market research and other administrative tasks required by the national BD & Marketing team.
  • Collaborating with the National Head of BD & Marketing and the team on marketing strategy and campaigns.
  • Help identify marketing trends and key opportunities for innovation.
  • Analyse questionnaires and other forms of feedback.
  • Help organise marketing events.

Essential Skills:

  • Website content management
  • Demonstrable experience in social media
  • Experience using Client/Contact Relationship Management (CRM) and eMarketing systems
  • Up-to-date with trends and best practices in online marketing, measurement and Search Engine Optimisation
  • Knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics)
  • Experience in the use of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator) or similar
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • An ability to think creatively and strategically
  • A collaborative working style
  • Be comfortable managing priorities and deadlines

Highly desirable:

  • Creative with experience in digital campaigns
  • Previous use of either LexisNexis InterAction (CRM) or Tikit eMarketing or Hootsuite Tweetdeck applications is an advantage
