As part of the Clients & Markets team, Account Managers are assigned to PwC’s most important accounts as a dedicated resource to ensure that the client consistently receives exceptional service and attention. They are an integral part of the account team, working with the CLP (Client Lead Partner) and other account leaders to grow revenue, build important client relationships and support the broader client facing team.

As the Account Manager your impact will be seen through your ability to demonstrate your specialist skills in strategic account planning, pursuit management and relationship development.

You will:

  • Drive the account planning and management program including helping develop strategies for maintaining and growing the relationships and revenue on the account.

  • Establish and manage the account operating rhythm including regular account team meetings; gathering, sharing and actioning of client feedback; and pipeline management.

  • Work with the account leadership team to develop opportunities for profitable growth.

  • Provide support to strategic pursuits and proposals including managing the tender process from initial identification through to the win/loss debrief.

  • Own and managing the relationship with procurement and probity reporting.

  • Own and drive the account relationship plan to ensure key relationships continue to grow and expand.

  • Identify, develop and distribute thought leadership and insights to assist with relationship development.

  • Manage account related internal communications; budgeting and performance reporting.

  • Leverage insights and propositions from major accounts across the Firm (industry or geography) to drive pipeline and new opportunities.

  • Connect with the Firm Agendas, Business Imperatives and Industry strategies to identify opportunities and connections for the account.

About you

The brief is simple...

You have a successful background in stakeholder management and a personal passion for producing high quality work with a focus on improving our clients’ business and delivering an exceptional experience. You are eligible for baseline security clearance and have a proven track record of formulating strategies for maintaining and growing relationships and revenue on an account and maximizing your current or previous firms potential to maintain and win business. You have strong experience in bid management, and pursuit coaching and ideally, have worked within a professional services firm previously.
