Based in Canberra as the Account Manager for our Federal Government Account the role is focused on delivering outcomes and exceptional client service. The role is an integral part of the account team driving execution of the account strategy, working with the senior account manager and the lead Partners and sub sector Partners. You will report into the Federal Government Senior Manager.

As a Federal Government Account Manager in the Consulting Market’s Account Management team your impact will be seen by:

  • Understanding the work that PwC does in the Account and driving account related communications, budgeting and performance reporting.
  • Supporting account planning, management and reporting including managing the executing on activities associated with strategies for maintaining and growing relationships and maximising PwC’s potential to maintain and win business across the Account portfolio, including a focus on select sub-accounts as required.
  • Driving the account relationship plan to ensure networks and connections continue to grow and expand. This is supported by driving an account operating rhythm including regular account team meetings, gathering, sharing and actioning of client feedback, opportunity management and reporting.
  • Help design workshops, team building and strategic days for the account leveraging new ways of working and assisting with the identification and distribution of thought leadership, marketing and relationship programs which are relevant to the client.

You will have 3-5 years experience and the confidence and passion for account management business development. You can work in high pressure environments and deliver on tight deadlines. You have experience in account management principles, project and time management, strategic thinking and know how to execute. You have solid data analysis and visualisation skills, comfortably use Salesforce reporting and dashboards and are digitally proficient in platforms such as Microsoft 365 and Google apps for work.

You demonstrate the attributes of being a team player who is a self-starter, detail orientated, a strong communicator with the confidence to negotiate and persuade, is able to prioritise, with strong commercial acumen.
