Based in Melbourne as an Account Manager working on an Iconic Telecommunications Account and supporting, when required, our Strategic accounts, the role is focused on delivering outcomes and exceptional client service. The role is an integral part of the account teams stretching from strategy to execution, working with the lead Partners and and other account leaders to grow revenue, build key client relationships and support the broader client facing team. As an Account Manager in the Consulting Market’s Account Management team your impact will be seen by:

  • Understanding the work that PwC does across the Accounts you look after and driving account related communications, budgeting and performance reporting.
  • Driving account planning, management and reporting including leading and executing on activities associated with strategies for maintaining and growing relationships and maximising PwC’s potential to maintain and win business across the Account portfolio.
  • Designing and facilitating workshops and strategy days for the accounts leveraging new ways of working.
  • Driving alternate delivery models, accessing and identifying where tasks can be outsourced via offshore or onshore capabilities. Owning client relationships for eg with procurement teams, whilst also using the client platforms to deliver work as needed.
  • Owning and driving the account relationship plan to ensure networks and connections continue to grow and expand. This is supported by driving an account operating rhythm including regular account team meetings, gathering, sharing and actioning of client feedback, opportunity management and reporting.
  • Assist in the preparation of briefing packs and data for account reviews.

About You

You have a minimum of 8 years exceptional experience and have confidence and passion for account management business development.  You can work in high pressure environments and deliver on tight deadlines. You are skilled in account management and sales principles, project and time management, strategic thinking and know how to execute. You have strong data analysis and visualisation skills, comfortably use Salesforce reporting and dashboards and are digitally proficient in platforms such as Salesforce, Microsoft Suite and Google apps for work.

You demonstrate the attributes of being a team player who is a self-starter, detail oriented, a strong communicator with the confidence to negotiate and persuade senior stakeholders, is able to prioritise, with strong commercial acumen. You may also have experience in leading and coaching teams.

You have strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build impactful relationships quickly through well-articulated points of view.
