Be a key part of the national Energy & Utilities (E&U) industry team - providing strategic advice, project management and commercial support to its portfolio of five priority accounts and the industry leader.

As a priority industry, the E&U team supports its priority account Client Lead Partners (CLPs) and teams to provide them with important knowledge, skills and behaviours to deliver an exceptional experience to our most important clients.

As an Account Manager in the Consulting Market’s Account Management team you will be working closely with the industry leader and the five (5) account lead Partners (CLPs), this role will oversee commercial growth of the Energy & Utilities account portfolio including supporting and developing the growth strategy, analysis and synthesis of pipeline/revenue results, engagement with CLP's on account strategy and key opportunities.

Your impact will be seen by:

  • End-to-end account management from strategy through to execution
  • Regular contact with CLP's to identify needs and themes across the Portfolio
  • Lead and shape the portfolio operating rhythm including regular account reviews
  • Analysis and interpretation of key portfolio data to inform key activities, identify gaps and areas needed for focus
  • Development and maintenance of account scorecards
  • Manage the distribution of the reports and individual account insights to CLP's
  • With the industry lead, build and maintain a repository of insight and data by account / portfolio
  • Leveraging Market Research & Insights team, research growth opportunities to input to strategic direction of the industry
  • Assist in the preparation of briefing packs and data for account reviews
  • Shaping and organising the annual and quarterly rhythm for the priority portfolio
  • Leveraging insights and propositions from major accounts across the Firm (industry or geography) to drive pipeline and opportunities
  • Leveraging Consulting’s alliances and propositions to drive pipeline and opportunities and also connect with the marketing team to identify opportunities and connections through events, thought leadership and go to market campaigns.

About You

You have a minimum of 8 years exceptional experience and have confidence and passion for account management business development.

You are a self-motivated and detail oriented individual, with strong strategic and commercial acumen. With a personal passion for producing high quality work, you focus on client needs and delivering an exceptional experience for our clients.

You have excellent project management and organisational skills, and are confident in working in account management and sales principles, project and time management, strategic thinking and know how to execute. With your experience working with CRM processes, systems and account management principles, you are currently, or are willing to become, a Salesforce native.

Your strong interpersonal and communication skills enables you to build impactful relationships quickly through well-articulated points of view. You build and maintain long-term business relationships (internal and external), and are a commercial thinker with strong business acumen. You have mature skills across the Google Apps for work and the Microsoft Office suite, in particular PowerPoint and Excel. You have the ability to work in a high pressure environment and to tight deadlines, with excellent attention to detail.
