Having successfully recruited for Baker McKenzie across the Asia-Pacific for over a decade, we have been retained to source a BD Consultant for a 12 month maternity leave contract
Working closely with the Senior BD Manager, you will be supporting the Transactional group focused on Major Projects and Corporate. This role will also encompass responsibility for an industry group. This is a pivotal role for the firm - and you will be executing strategies to win, retain and grow business through the implementation of marketing & BD plans and client focused initiatives.
Due to investment into the BD & Marketing function globally, you will benefit from well-resourced teams: Specialised Functions (Tender/Pursuit, Client, Communications, Marketing) on the ground and globally as well as End-to-End Service Centres which follow the sun around the globe - removing a good level of administrative tasks from your desk and allowing you to work across the business proactively.

Who should apply?
To be successful, you will be degree qualified and will have gained 3+ years of marketing or business development experience. Essential to the success of this role is the ability to work with and influence key stakeholders across the business. You will possess strong verbal and written communication skills and you must be proactive, self-motivated and a team player - with excellent time management and multi-tasking skills.
