About the role

As the team’s Marketing & Events Coordinator, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our firm through an exciting phase for our business. Reporting directly to the Business Development and Marketing Manager in Sydney, a key focus will be to coordinate and deliver marketing activities for the Sydney teams and market, while also working closely with the broader Business Development and Marketing team to implement national initiatives. Our high performing team work closely and collaboratively to deliver innovative and creative solutions to our clients.

Working with our Partners, Industry Leaders and teams across the business, you will coordinate events, research opportunities, produce collateral and proposals, develop and publish digital content that supports the firm’s strategic direction and delivers value for our clients. You will act as a champion of the firm’s brand and have the opportunity of lifting the impact our events have on clients and potential clients.


  • Support and implement the Firm’s strategy.
  • Plan, manage and support the execution of a wide variety of event programs including internal and external events, sponsorships and major industry conferences/tradeshows.
  • Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns relevant to Divisional and Industry Group business plans across channels as required (e.g. thought leadership, digital marketing, social and digital channels, client-related reports, proposals, marketing collateral) and measure their impact.
  • Champion and assist the roll out and maintenance of a new bespoke CRM system.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful execution of marketing activities.
  • Champion brand advocacy and compliance in all marketing related activities.
  • Show initiative in helping to grow the business.

Skills and experience

  • Degree qualified in Marketing or Events Management with minimum of 3 years experience, preferably gained in a professional services environment.
  • Highly developed written communication skills, demonstrated by an ability to draft and edit creative content.
  • Demonstrated experience working with a wide-range of internal and external stakeholders with exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and work on multiple tasks simultaneously within tight timeframes and budget.
  • Experience in coordinating and delivering corporate seminars and events.
  • An interest in and some experience in SEO and digital marketing (including analytics).
  • Intermediate MS Office skills, and experience using Adobe Creative Suite is highly desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail and exceptional time management.
  • Skilled, energetic and willing to take on a challenge.
