Looking for an exciting Marketing role AND a fantastic culture?

Based in Perth, but supporting practice groups in Sydney, Perth and Darwin, this role will focus on support for our Australia-based marketing communications and business development initiatives and efforts.

As the Marketing Coordinator you will enjoy responsibilities such as:

  • Event planning, budgeting and execution.
  • Producing and updating of marketing and business development collateral.
  • Supporting the team in the delivery of strategic marketing and communication initiatives, including submissions for awards, legal directories and league tables.
  • Assisting with e–marketing and social media campaigns and other profiling activities, such as sponsorships and speaking opportunities.
  • Working with the team to deliver tenders, capability statements and experience documentation.
  • Maintaining the team intranet page, databases, website and other intranet pages.
  • Team administration including invoicing and records management.
  • Assist with any other marketing and business development related tasks that are required.

This role will perfectly suit someone who likes to roll up their sleeves and get on with tasks and who enjoys a collaborative and supportive culture. Flexibility around tasks undertaken is an essential component of this position as two team members’ work part-time, so supporting them on non-work days will be part of the role. You will also work alongside the Business Development and Marketing Manager, giving you the chance to develop your strategic thinking muscles. Out-of-office- hours’ work will sometimes be required to supervise or assist at events and functions etc.

What you will bring to the role

To succeed in this role you will be degree qualified in marketing, PR or mass communications (or equivalent), with 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role. Previous events experience will be highly regarded. An understanding of the legal environment is preferable, but not essential. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, as is attention to detail and accuracy. You will also have a high degree of technology literacy – high level MS Office skills are a requirement.

You are also a dynamic, creative and positive individual. You are self-motivated with a high level of initiative and persistence and able to work under pressure. You are action oriented and not afraid to roll up your sleeves and get on with tasks. Your professionalism, self-confidence and high-level organisation and administrative skills will see you shine in this role.
