The Opportunity

We have an exciting parental leave cover role as Stakeholder Engagement & Strategic Partnerships Manager. This role effectively contributes to the success of the organisation by working closely with senior team members., developing and assisting in the execution of engagement strategies across key decision makers and influencers relevant to WSP, positioning the organisation to win work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver WSP strategy around stakeholder engagement and partnerships with our senior team members.
  • Design and deliver the strategy for local, national and global partnership development based on user behaviour, WSP brand strength, competition landscape and potential impact.
  • Structure, renegotiate, execute and review high impact partnership agreements that drive awareness, engagement, loyalty and bid leads.
  • Own and manage relationships with key partners and membership organisations, leveraging the relationship to advance the strategic interests and increase visibility of WSP in key sectors.
  • Periodically review the competitive landscape, identifying and developing partnership opportunities that will assist in positioning WSP as the market leader.
  • Develop relationships with key industry thought leaders and create a pool of knowledgeable go-to clients for ad hoc market feedback and research that will inform positioning activities.
  • Work with Sector and Regional Directors to deliver on annual engagement strategies that assist in positioning WSP as the consultant of choice in key growth markets.

To Be Successful In This Role You Will Have:

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in marketing, communications or business.
  • 5+ years of experience working in partnerships, business development or MarComms roles.
  • Previous experience in a senior relationship management /partnership role.
  • Direct experience in building and managing strategic alliances and partnerships with senior internal and external stakeholders on a local, national and global scale.
  • Established networks with leaders across industry, government and the media (traditional and digital).
