Here at WSP we design lasting solutions in the Property & Buildings, Transportation & Infrastructure, Environment, Industry, Resources (including Mining and Oil & Gas) and Power & Energy sectors as well as project delivery and strategic consulting services.

We are currently looking for a Technical Copywriter to join our Brand, Marketing & Communications team based in our Sydney office. This role is responsible for supporting the Head of Marcoms and Editorial Content, Markets & Strategy in the delivery of impactful content across the ANZ business group.

Your key accountabilities will include:

  • Produce a high volume of content to build our brand, via various market-facing channels.
  • Improve market positioning and brand profile through effective communications and marketing.
  • Provide an outstanding level of service to internal and external clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Implement best-practice client engagement events.

Key experiences, skills and qualifications required:

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in engineering, sustainability or planning, and/or journalism or marketing communications.
  • Minimum 5 years’ professional communications experience.
  • Advanced level of knowledge about technical writing within professional services and B2B environments.
  • Proven ability in creating content for professional services (including research, copywriting and stakeholder engagement).
  • Robust oral and excellent written communication skills.
  • Ability to build a strong brand and marcoms capability.
  • Proven ability to develop and publish communications campaigns.
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite or similar software.
